An update to let all know where DA is at Post Recompression!!
This year we *were* the good times at Recomp! We even gave ourselves our own caution tape perimeter around our cabin for everyone elses safety but our own ;0)
DA's Bunny Cannon's (we have a 'Family Foto' of the Boyz n Belva with thier Cannons) were a *flying* hit!!! The sound of bunnies flying into the air with 'thump'....silence....thud-thud-thud just never got old out front Cabin #7.
Disaster Area even brought food to share this year...french fries! THat's right...we made it happen and had a potato gun that shot potatoes thru a fish line mesh into a pot of boiling oil....and voila! We have Potato Cannon Fries for everyone!
Our late night impromtu fire show on the Friday night made a lotta people smile...including us! Flaming bunnies, bunnies with glow stick collars, and large scale explosions are sure to please all! Our favourite phrase of the night was "MARCO------POLO!"
DA didn't disappoint in the fire show either! Godzilla's Ass (formerly known as the Pilliar of Destruction and re-named Godzilla's Ass thanks to the outnumbering vote of the fire performers) made the end of the fire show *explode* into action! The fine touches and blast points that DA offered to the show made for a wonderful sight to be held by all!
Their performance down on the beach was just as exciting....they finally got the Man to Burn this year on the first go! Lummox and Dylan busted out their Fire Bazooka's that torched the Man with one small blast---hahahaha small blast. . . .that's an understatement! This followed by the new ceremonial beating of the Man by it's creators made for and interesting spectacle to be held!
And who can forget Bhagdad Breakfast...cannons on the front porch of the dining hall making the windows rattle? Yeah. Pretty freaking cool if you ask me!
The coolest thing about this event for Disaster Area is that all of the effects we brought out were our own...that's right. The Boys made the two Dragon cannons, the flame trays and all the Bunny Cannons with their own two hands!
And now we can bring them out wherever we want...whenever we want!
For future . . . . we are trying to lock down a date for our annual White Trash Party. If you missed it last year....you suck. You won't miss it this year as it'll be bigger n better!!!!
When the date is set we'll post it out here!
